Distinction extended to select members of the military involved in business

Wallingford, Connecticut, March 5, 2012 – Regan Technologies announced today the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has designated the company as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOB).

Regan is Recognized as a Veteran Owned Business

This designation is extended to a select group of veterans who own their own business and are involved in the day-to-day decision making of their company.  The purpose of the program is to ensure that legitimately owned and controlled Veteran and Service-Disabled Veteran-owned small businesses are able to compete for VA VOSB and SDVOSB set-asides; to be credited by VA’s large prime contractors for subcontract plan achievements and to participate in VA’s VOSB Mentor-Protégé Program.

“This is a great opportunity for us,” said Christopher Regan, CEO at Regan Technologies.  “Not only does it open up more opportunities for us financially, it’s a token of appreciation for serving in the military.”
